Pregnancy never seems to happen at a good time. A couple is either trying to conceive for months and months before they have success, or it happens out of the blue to a couple who isn’t even thinking about having children.
To those who are having a hard time conceiving, it becomes salt in a wound every time you see that somebody else you know is expecting, especially when it seems like they didn’t even want the baby in the first place. If you’re facing infertility issues, you’ve probably researched a lot of options, but here are some ways to make your likelihood of getting pregnant easier:
Evaluate What You’re Taking In
Your body is an amazing machine but when you’re fueling it with things that are slowly, but surely killing it, your likelihood of getting pregnant can go away rapidly. Some women who have been on medications for certain health conditions or take certain kinds of birth control permanently mess up the chemistry of their bodies to the point they can’t facilitate life.
In the same way, drugs, cigarettes, excessive alcohol and caffeine can also make getting pregnant harder and more dangerous. If you’re battling with infertility, see if you can cut out or change the medications you’re taking and stop eating all of the processed food. When your body heals itself from the junk, other natural processes will come back into alignment.
Look Into All Alternatives
It’s understandable that you want a child that is made from the sperm and egg of you and your partner, but sometimes that’s not possible. First, go to the doctor and get both of your bodies checked out to see if there is anything inhibiting fertility.
If it’s physically impossible for the two of you to have your genetic child together, consider visiting a sperm bank and looking into all other alternatives. A child is a child, even if the child doesn’t have your exact DNA, it’s still your child, so it could be a viable option.
Find Your Perfect Shape
You’ve heard is said before that some women aren’t able to get pregnant because they’re athletes and they don’t have enough fat on their bodies. If you’re this kind of woman, increase the amount of healthy calories in your diet and cut back a bit on the training to better facilitate an environment that is prime for conception.
If you’re on the other end of the spectrum and you’re not able to get pregnant because it’s a risk and you’re too high on the body mass index scale, consider whipping yourself up into the perfect shape for you. When your body is healthy, it’s natural processes are able to operate. This means getting pregnant will be a more natural product.
